RACEWALKER Sharon Tonks arrived at the Memorial Park, Coventry in torrential rain to compete in the Coventry Godiva Harriers annual May Day 5 mile run/racewalk.
Fortunately, the rain stopped just before the race started. Sharon had a steady race and comfortable win The race helped to concentrate her thoughts on preparing for the Midland Track Championships on May 23.
