KIDDERMINSTER Harriers director of football Jan Molby has hinted that his close-season plans could involve the departure of one or two long-serving players from Aggborough.

Two Aggborough campaigners who could be under threat are long-serving goalkeeper Stuart Brock and dogged defender Scott Stamps.

Brock, who has made 227 first team appearance since his debut in November, 1997, has recently been ousted by youngster John Danby, who has turned in a number of impressive displays.

Stamps, who has made more than 180 appearances since his debut in September 1999, has also been struggling to keep his place in the side following the recent inclusion of Steve Burton.

Molby has yet to reveal his plans but has made it clear that he feels some players have been at Aggborough for too long.

After a successful battle to avoid relegation from the Nationwide League Division Three,

the former Liverpool star is now anxious for Harriers fans to have more to shout.

He said: "I think there'll be a lot of changes this summer. I know what I want to do, but it'll take time because we don't have the funds to do anything quick.

"Given time, if we can bring in three players and two of them turn out to be good then that's how we are going to do it.."

After today's clash with Rochdale at Aggborough, Harriers will complete their programme with a trip to Torquay United on May 1 and a home match against Boston United seven days later.
