ODDFELLOWS Arms lifted the Bluck Cup for the first time in front of a sizeable crowd last Sunday.

The opening half-hour against Broadway United Reserves was a scrappy affair until three goals in 12 minutes swung the game towards the Oddies.

A mix-up in the Broadway defence led to Dave Roberts heading home and three minutes later Scott Sears hit a superb shot into the top corner.

Then, right on the stroke of half-time, the same player seized on to a through ball to hammer the ball home.

Broadway dominated the second half but only had a Dyke strike seven minutes from time to show for their efforts.

Badsey Recreation secured their second division status with a home win over Peopleton.

Nick Simms scored four for the Rec as they completed a great escape having been well adrift at the turn of the year.

Paul Kavanagh hit five as Tewkesbury Town defeated Queens in Division Three, where champions Shipston won by a single goal at More-ton Town.

In Division Four, 50-year-old Allan Boulton scored an injury-time penalty to give Bretforton Old Boys the points at the expense of Cider Mill. Added together, the combined age of the winning team on the field at the finish was an amazing 422!

Champions Hampton WMC warmed up for Sunday's County Cup final with a double-figure blast against Bell United. The prolific Stewart Reading added four more goals to his season's total.
