Hanley Castle High School recently held an auction of promises to raise much-needed funds to benefit the pupils and the school. It was a very successful and entertaining evening and we raised over £3,000 for the school.
On behalf of The Friends committee, who organised the event, I would like to say a very big thank you to all the people who donated promises for auctioning, everyone who gave so generously on the night and everyone who helped to contribute overall to a very worthwhile cause.
In my quest for promises, I met and spoke with some lovely supportive people locally and far and wide. Their help was very much appreciated and helped significantly to generate the support from the people who attended on the night.
Liz McLean, on behalf of The Friends Committee at Hanley Castle High School, Hanley Castle.
