WHAT a superb meeting we had. It was chaired by Sue Frizzell who welcomed several guests, approximately 45 members and our speaker, James Arbuthnott from The Cottage Garden and Nursery at Stone. He gave a talk and slide show on climbers, showing us slides of his beautiful garden and numerous self-built towers which lend magic and scope to the garden by assisting the display of his hundreds of striking and unusual climbers. It was truly an enchanting evening.
Our baby fuschias will be available at our next meeting on April 7 at 7.30pm in Burcot Village Hall. The speaker will be David Gill on fuschias - hopefully encouraging us to produce some superb plants to enter into the competition at Burcot Fete in August. We are a friendly group so do come and join us - all are welcome.
