HIGH-FLYING Worcester Warriors tangle with lowly Penzance & Newlyn on Saturday (3pm) with John Brain warning they must not be underestimated.

Sixways' director of rugby believes the Cornish newcomers possess some dangerous runners that must be kept in check.

Brain has reshuffled his side for the home National One encounter, drafting in Duncan Roke at full back for his first start in two months, while lock Dan Zaltzman returns in place of Mark Gabey who is rested on the bench.

Scottish World Cup star Ben Hinshelwood has been switched to centre to pave the way for Roke, with Gary Trueman dropping to the bench, while Richard Bates and Christian Evans start in the back row.

Flanker and top try scorer Gavin Pfister is still not fit after suffering a shoulder problem, while Warriors' skipper Werner Swanepoel is out with a rib injury sustained at Bristol.

Matt Powell steps in at scrum-half to replace the South African.

Worcester supporters will no doubt be anticipating a crushing win against second bottom Penzance, but Brain sounded a note of caution.

"At the end of the day it is a tried and trusted clich but in this league you can't afford to go more than one game at a time," he said.

"Penzance have improved and showed recently when they played Saracens that they can't be taken lightly. They only lost by 10 points and were leading for much of the match.

"They've got quite a few dangerous runners and we have to concentrate on producing a winning performance."

"Penzance may not be in the top half of the table but having said that we know that some of their results, particularly at home, have been okay," he added.

"It only takes a couple of little things go your way for that home form to start transferring to away form.

"We have just got to remain focused on getting the right result."

After last week's narrow victory in torrential rain at Bristol, Brain and his team will be hoping for better weather to display their talents.

"If we get good conditions we like to play a 15-man game," added Brain.
