WORCESTER Rugby Club have brought forward their clash at Penzance & Newlyn.
The National One game was due to be played on April 17 but, because of the Cornish side's possible participation in the Powergen Shield, the match has been rescheduled for a 2pm kick-off on March 6.
"If they are involved in the shield it could have meant us having to play them midweek before the Pertemps Bees game on April 24 and we wanted to avoid that," said director of rugby John Brain.
"The rearrangement has been agreed with First Division Rugby and all parties involved."
The switch will probably mean, however, that centre Ben Hinshelwood will be unavailable for the game as on that day Scotland take on Italy in a Six Nations clash.
The Scottish ace is expected to be named in their Six Nations squad despite new coach Matt Williams dictating that he wants his internationals to be plying their trade in Scotland.
