WORCESTER Rugby Club have won the National One Team of the Month award for January.

The award will be presented at Saturday's home clash with Manchester.

The Warriors won all four of their league matches during the month to maintain their unbeaten record, including a crucial 15-7 away victory over title rivals Orrell.

They also defeated Otley and Bedford at home and London Welsh away.

Warriors currently lead the table by 12 points going into the Manchester game.

Saturday will also see the World Cup paraded around Sixways before the match, in the trophy's latest stop on a tour of England.

Prior to that the trophy visits Herefordshire tomorrow evening with a visit to Luctonians' ground in Kingsland.

On Friday it will be at Evesham High School at a coaching session for schoolchildren, and also visits Bromsgrove Rugby Club.
