ANDY Keast admitted he sat back and enjoyed the mauling of Manchester.

The Worcester coach revealed that his team's target was six tries before kick-off and so 12 enabled him to forget about the technical side and just revel in the feast.

"Their was clear enjoyment on the players' faces and it was nice, with 20 minutes to go, that you could just sit back and enjoy the performance," he said.

"That was the atmosphere that was sent from the field outwards. It was very, very enjoyable to watch. There was a mixture of various plays from driving to moving the ball wide.

"I think Manchester's attitude was fantastic and I've a lot of admiration for them because, until the end, they were trying to be positive and trying to play rugby.

"It was our biggest points total of the season but I don't think it was our best performance because you have to weigh performance up against pressure. What was pleasing from our perspective, however, was that everyone who came on made an impact.

"Rhodri McAtee - our young scrum half - came on and went out onto the wing. He scored a try at the end which was fantastic and he also made a try for Drew Hickey so that's great experience for the boy."
