APPARENTLY, Barnet is one of a growing number of authorities that are turning back the tide of anti-car measures.
Road humps and bus lanes are being ripped out to allow for a better uninterrupted flow of traffic. Road narrowing on main roads is abolished, enlarged pavements have been reduced back to normal size, road platforms levelled and the number of traffic lights reassessed.
Traffic flow is back to normal to the delight of visitors and the local business community. Will Worcester follow this lead back to normality?
