SPORTS EDITOR'S MAILBAG

KIDDERMINSTER Harriers' season is turning into a nightmare.

Without a win in the final nine games of last season, alarm bells were already ringing when this season got underway without any signings of note.

Having seen seven of the nine league games to date, I consider this to be the poorest Harriers side in recent times.

We lack quality, experience and, most importantly, we are tactically poor.

Games against Cheltenham and Macclesfield should have been killed off with the right tactics.

Surely taking young kids on loan on a regular basis is not the answer to our future.

How we can afford to release Sean Flynn when we lack so much experience is beyond me.

To lambast the players for not showing bottle and all the other nonsense Ian Britton comes out with on a regular basis to the media, does no-one any good.

Questions have to be asked whether Ian Britton is the man to lead us out of this mess, because on our current showing we are destined for a relegation dogfight.

Without quality and a few older heads we are in for a long season.
