SPORTS EDITOR'S MAILBAG
WOULD like to respond to the letter form Mr Footitt (Shuttle/Times & News September 18) regarding the position of Kidderminster Harriers.
Like your correspondent, I find Ian Britton's team selections very puzzling.
Having bought Gadsby as a central defender, why was he on the bench against Macclesfield when the regular defender was suspended?
He then pops up against Lincoln as a right-sided wing back, having played against Bristol Rovers in central midfield - all very confusing.
Lloyd Dyer, who has lightning pace, is playing far too deep. The physical strength is not there for such a defensive role. He should be in a far more advanced position.
Why was Sean Flynn released, when his experience would be vital now? Especially when he had started the season so well.
We have to revert to a 4-4-2 formation, with a flat back four. There is no pace down the right to play 3-5-2.
We all know Bennett blows hot and cold, but he should be in the side for his pace and enthusiasm.
Sort it out Ian, because two points out of 21 is cast-iron relegation form.
