KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Jan Molby is well aware his opposite number at Northwich Victoria Alvin McDonald will be aiming for another FA Cup upset next Saturday when the sides lock horns in a first round clash at Aggborough.

McDonald was recently appointed manager of the Nationwide Conference strugglers after having enjoyed considerable success while in charge of Unibond Premier Leaguers Vauxhall Motors who last season beat Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road in the FA Cup.

Molby said: "He has a knack of doing well in the cup and you can rest assured he'll be excited about next Saturday.

"He can't wait to get to Aggborough and try to knock another Football League club out, but we are at home and we are very hopeful."

As a player McDonald performed in the old Northern Premier League for South Liverpool and then the Cheshire League for Stalybridge, Ashton United and Formby.

Molby watched the Vics beat Halifax Town 1-0 at home in the previous round last Sunday and expects them to give his players a stiff test next Saturday.

He said: "They have got to come to Aggborough and nothing is expected of them. The pressure will be off. When they get here we'll know it's going to be a tough game for us."

Molby's assistant Gary Barnett said: "Hopefully we can relax and play some football without the pressure of three league points.

"Obviously it's going to be very tough as Conference sides are very well organised."
