JAN Molby today described Kidderminster Harriers' dream clash with Wolves as a "classic FA Cup draw."

The Aggborough director of football was ecstatic to see the Premiership side drawn to play his Third Division outfit next month and believes it sets up a potential banana skin for Dave Jones' boys.

Harriers, fresh from Saturday's second round win at Woking, have now been given the opportunity to create history in the third round clash at Aggborough over the weekend of January 3.

"It's a fantastic draw for us," he said. "It is a classic FA Cup draw in the spirit of the competition, a team from a lower division taking on one of the big boys at home.

"It's always a potential banana skin when teams from the top flight have to come to Third Division clubs and I think this tie will be no different. Wolves are finding it difficult to adapt in the Premiership and they won't relish this draw."

Like millions of others, Molby was watching the draw at home in front of his television yesterday and he admitted it was a nerve-jangling occasion.

"It was really tense," he added. "I was counting down the Premiership teams and when Wolves came out it was great. You get into the third round and you obviously want one of the big boys at home. The chances of getting a poor draw is always there as well, so we're delighted with Wolves."

With Aggborough capable of housing around 6,500 supporters, the money men at Harriers may have been tempted to switch the tie to Molineux for a bigger share of the pot. However, Molby insisted that would never come into the thinking.

"We talk about the finances here a lot but this is about the spirit of the cup," said Molby. "For me, this kind of tie is what the FA Cup is all about.

"What we will do is fill the stadium, create a cracking atmosphere and you never know what can happen in cup football do you? What the game will do is create a massive amount of interest and will give our players an opportunity to make a name for themselves.

"Everyone gets 15 minutes of fame and this match will give the players a chance to make history."
