KIDDERMINSTER Harriers' new signings Scott Rickards and Lee Jenkins are both poised to make their debuts in today's Nationwide League Division Three clash with Leyton Orient at Aggborough.

Manager Jan Molby completed both signings yesterday, with 22-year-old striker Rickards arriving from Conference side Tamworth for an undisclosed fee and 24-year-old defender Jenkins from Swansea on a free transfer.

Both have agreed 18-month contracts with Harriers and Molby is delighted to have landed the pair.

Molby said of Rickards: "He's a player I've watched for a while and has earned himself a decent reputation in non-league football.

"He has a lot of qualities about his game and I'm sure he will improve playing for us. He has a lot of pace and his movement is good. He will fit well into the style of football we are trying to play."

Jenkins made 180 appearances for Molby's former club Swansea and the Harriers boss added: "He's young, competitive and plays the game at a high pace.

"He's not afraid to get stuck in and do the ugly jobs that aren't often appreciated."

Both players are eligible to play in Harriers' FA Cup third round clash with Wolves on January 3.

Molby is also chasing two more potential new faces ahead of the Christmas programme.
