ANOTHER tough FA Trophy hurdle to cross but a more favourable FA Cup challenge came the way of Evesham United in last weekend's draws for the early rounds.
Following last season's early exit at Merthyr Tydfil, the Robins must now travel to Glouces-ter City for an FA Trophy qualifying round clash on Saturday, October 4. The winners will visit Rothwell Town on November 1.
However, after last season's lucrative run to the third qualifying round, Phil Mullen's men will have high hopes of a repeat with Common Road set to stage ties in the preliminary and first qualifying rounds.
Hallen are the visitors on Saturday, August 30 with the winners then playing host to either Highworth Town, Shortwood United or Portland United a fortnight later.
United's preparations for the new season start with a first training session tonight followed by a game at Common Road against Kidderminster on Saturday (3pm).
