JAN Molby believes Saturday's 2-0 win over Swansea City has helped relegation-haunted Kidderminster Harriers lose their fear of going to Nationwide League Division Three table-toppers Doncaster Rovers on Friday.

The Aggborough director of football says his troops are now relishing the clash after halting their dismal run of seven league matches without a win thanks to goals from Ian Foster and Jesper Christiansen.

Foster ended shot-shy Harriers' 374-minute goal famine by breaking the deadlock in the second half -- a strike which led to a victory that Molby described as a 'massive relief'.

The Dane said: "The massive relief of getting a goal, scoring another and winning meant all of a sudden the mood changed everywhere -- on the pitch with the players and also in the stands with the fans.

"It's doesn't guarantee anything in the future, but it changes everything and you're looking forward to coming into work. The players were lively yesterday in training and looking forward to Friday instead of being in fear of having to go to the league leaders.

"I think if we hadn't won on Saturday there might have been some fear and the last place you would want to go was Doncaster. But let's go there and see what we can do."

Molby hopes Christiansen's first goal for Harriers, in his 10th outing since arriving from Denmark, will be the start of many more to come.

He said: "It was a big relief for him getting his first goal. It's never easy coming from a different country and trying to settle down while you're playing. He hadn't been playing as well as he would have liked and hadn't scored his goals, so there were a lot of things on his mind.

"To score was nice for him and let's hope he can consistently be among the goals. It was a long time coming but when it came it was a good goal. He's very quiet and sort of unemotional, but I know it meant the world to him."

Molby also revealed that striker John Williams will be staying on a non-contract basis at Aggborough after a possible deal with Tamworth fell through.

Meanwhile, no date or venue has yet been fixed for Molby to answer an FA charge of misconduct following his dismissal from the dug-out in a recent league clash at Southend United.
