VISITING fans are to be housed in part of the new East Stand next season in a change to admission policy that should net Kidderminster Harriers more gate receipts.

Travelling supporters will be given at least 591 seats rising up to 760 if necessary, meaning the South Terrace's west enclosure is now for the Harriers faithful on a match-by-match basis.

A spokesman predicted Harriers could make up to £2,000 more from some home games as a result.

He added: "It gives us more scope for home fans who are our priority. This move will benefit them and hopefully the club too."

On occasions the South Terrace will be given over to away clubs with larger travelling supports, such as Bristol Rovers and rivals Cheltenham Town.
