WORCESTER Rugby Club will search for cover in the wake of Ben Hinshelwood's World Cup call up.

Wing Jon Hylton was released from his Sixways trial period this week after failing to secure a contract. And coaches John Brain and Andy Keast will now be on the lookout for a utility back who can fill in at centre.

"Jon impressed us with his attitude and his approach to rugby," said Keast. "However, we really need someone who can play at centre while Ben is away with Scotland.

"There was the option of Duncan Roke switching to the centre and Daren O'Leary filling in at full back with Jon on the wing but we decided against it.

"Jon's a smashing lad and we would have liked him on board in an ideal world. However, we are operating on a reduced budget this season."

Meanwhile, Orrell coach Ross Reynolds believes that the pressure will be on the home side in today's clash of the titans at Sixways.

Worcester and the Edge Hall Road come face to face for the National One showdown and Reynolds is remaining laid back.

"The pressure is all on Worcester," he said. "It's a big game but the pressure will be on the home side because we have still got to play them at Edge Hall Road where we believe we can beat anyone."
