BEN Hinshelwood will know tomorrow whether he can play one more Worcester game before the World Cup.

The Sixways centre was released from Scotland duty to play in the 40-14 victory over Orrell on Saturday.

Warriors coaches John Brain and Andy Keast are hoping to play Hinshelwood at Bedford this weekend. Keast has been in touch with Scottish coach Ian McGeechan and a decision will be made by tomorrow.

"I think Ben looked a little rusty against Orrell," said Keast. "He could do with playing against Bedford. I think it's ideal preparation for him but Scotland are obviously concerned about him picking up an injury. We will know, however, by the middle of the week."

Meanwhile Worcester have been boosted with the news that Nnamdi Ezulike is running again following summer knee surgery and looks set for first team action in a fortnight.

The former London Irish flyer had a track session with the rest of the backs yesterday, to the delight of Keast.

"He was flying," he said. "Nnamdi looked very, very good and hopefully in a couple of weeks he will be in contention."

Drew Hickey will be available for Saturday but Richard Bates will be out for up to three weeks following a knee ligament strain. David Officer will undergo a scan on his injured hamstring today.
