IAN Britton boosted his 14-man squad with some rapid transfer dealings before Saturday's Division Three opener with Mansfield Town.
The Kidderminster Harriers manager confirmed the return of Andy Bishop on a month's loan and the short-term signing of trialist John Williams on Tuesday.
Their signings have boosted a threadbare attack that only comprised Bo Henriksen and teenager Matt Lewis.
Late last week, Britton agreed one-year deals with former loanee Kenny Coleman, centre-back Adam Willis, young midfielder Graham Ward and ex-youth teamer Nick Heath.
The return of Bishop was not a surprise as Harriers were known to be chasing the Walsall forward who scored five goals for them last season in a temporary spell.
But the Division One side's boss Colin Lee has only just given the go-ahead for the deal which Harriers will hope to extend further into the campaign.
Williams, the 35-year-old veteran of more than 10 clubs, has signed a three-month deal and will need to prove his fitness after an ankle knock.
But he impressed in pre-season with three goals and lively displays until he suffered the injury against Leicester City.
Former Swindon man Willis, 26, has looked a solid, classy performer in the middle of a back three and 20-year-old Coleman, released by Wolves, caught the eye at right wing-back.
Ward, another Wolves old boy, is a promising 20-year-old capture, while midfielder Heath, 18, made his first-team debut late last season.
