JAN Molby is going straight in at the deep end following his return to struggling Kidderminster Harriers as Director of Football.

The former Liverpool ace today held a Press conference at Aggborough before taking his players to Northampton Town for a Nationwide Division Three clash at Sixfields Stadium tonight (7.45).

Then on Saturday he will have a chance to test supporters' reaction to his appointment when Harriers entertain Doncaster Rovers.

Fans were upset at the way in which Molby left Aggborough for an ill-fated move to Hull City in March last year.

The former Danish international, however, had no qualms about returning to Kidderminster following the sacking of Ian Britton on Saturday.

His first task will be to pep the club's flagging fortunes -- they have won just once in their last 12 league outings -- and steer them further away from the relegation zone.

One player who believes Harriers can start climbing the table is Sean Parrish who was captain on Saturday when his side earned a well deserved goalless draw at high-flying Swansea City.

The midfielder has played for both Kidderminster's next two opponents, making 125 appearances for North-ampton and 75 for Doncaster.

He said: "I don't really know many of the faces at either club now as they have moved on. I enjoyed it at Northampton but it will be a tough game tonight. They have a new manager will be trying because they will want to impress.

"Doncaster are flying at the moment, but hopefully our draw at Swansea will enable us to kick on now."

Defender Wayne Hatswell, who made an impressive debut against the Swans following his move from Chester City, is convinced third-from-bottom Harriers can start to climb the table.

He said: "If we are going to stay up then we have got to play like we did at Swansea every week. But if you get two wins in a row in this league you are back up the table. That's how close it is. There are a lot of games left and hopefully we have turned the corner."

Harriers will be without striker Bo Henriksen (groin) and defender Scott Stamps (ankle) tonight. Stamps is likely to be out for a month.

FORMCAST: Harriers to draw 1-1.
