MozaRt's Requiem will be performed by the Cradley Singers at Lugwardine Parish Church on Saturday (April 3), at 7.30pm.
The Requiem is surrounded in mystery. Written as the great composer died, it was completed by his protg Franz Xaver Sssmayer.
Singer Jean Clift said: "It's a very, very moving piece to sing around Easter. We're all looking forward to it."
Stefan Scot, conductor and musical director of the Cradley Singers, is a member of singing group Sine Nomine, which will be joining the singers for the performance.
A piece by Boddecker with bassoon soloist Anja Caffele and music from Bach and Tallis complete the programme. Organist Mary Baron will accompany the choirs.
The event is being held in aid of Acorn's Children's Hospice, which is the group's chosen charity for this year. Tickets are £6, including wine and nibbles, available on the door.
The Cradley Singers have also set dates for two performances of Tenebrae in Holy Week. On Monday, April 5, they will perform in Leominster Priory at 7.30pm. On Tuesday, April 6 they will be singing at All Saints' Church, Hereford, again at 7.30pm. Anyone is welcome to attend..
