FOOD lovers in Worcestershire are being urged to tuck into a three-course meal to help raise cash for life-limited children in the county.
French chef Dominique Saley has teamed up with Acorns Children's Hospice Trust to organise a tasty fund-raising event.
Dominique, who works at the Bellman's Cross Inn, Kidderminster, has planned a special feast at £16.50 a head. All cash will go to Acorns.
The charity is trying to raise the final £1.3m of the £4m it needs to build the hospice in Bath Road, near Worcester city centre, to provide care and support for more than 250 life-limited children.
"This will be the fifth year we have put on this event, which has so far raised in excess of £5,000," explained Allan Percy, an Acorns' fund-raiser.
The special charity meals will be served at the restaurant on Monday, March 29, both at lunchtime and in the evening.
To book, call the restaurant on 01299 861322.
