YOUNG people aged between 11 and 18 who have helped improve community life in Wyre Forest could be honoured in a countywide scheme.
Worcestershire County Council is running Young Stars, which is designed to recognise the public spirited efforts of young citizens.
Nominations are being invited for eligible candidates who have made a personal effort over and above the average.
Winners will receive their awards during a special presentation event at County Hall, Worcester on Saturday, April 24.
Award categories are: personal achievement in the arts; personal achievement in sport, outdoor activities or other interest/skill; young carers; service to the community' citizenship and environment.

The closing date for entries is March 31.
