THE Avon Singers will take to the stage with their annual concert at Evesham Arts Centre next week.
The group, which has performed the concert every year since the theatre was built, are busy rehearsing movement and music, including Gershwin, folk songs and other musical items they hope will have great public appeal.
The performance is in costume, designed and created by singer Susan Gadsby, and the John Holmes Trio will be the guest artists once more.
The Avon Singers have already donated £1,000 to the Acorn Trust this year and hope to raise much more from the concert, which takes place next Saturday, March 13 at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £7, are available from Evesham Book Centre in Oat Street, Evesham, or from Jim Powell on 01386 442440.
