Ingrid Pasteur gave a talk and showed slides of the time she spent teaching in Uganda. Her first visit was in the early 1960s, and her latest visit was in 2003, when she was asked to teach at a new girls' school, where 'O' and 'A' levels are still taught.
The next meeting will feature a talk on contemporary policing, by Paul West, chief constable of West Mercia Police. This will be held on Wednesday, March 17 at the Methodist Hall, Parkes Passage, Stourport, starting at 7.45pm. Everyone welcome.
