THE report about the budget debate at Wyre Forest District Council was not accurate in one detail (Shuttle/Times and News, February 26).
The Labour amendment featuring a reduced Council Tax increase, increased provision for the street warden service and for litter-picking, a commitment to spend money on Bridge Street, Stourport, and substantial savings in future years, was not "withdrawn" as reported.
It was voted against by the other political parties.
