LITTER-PICKERS are not often the four-legged variety but one Vale dog has proved he is the exception to that rule.
Henry, a seven-year old terrier lives with his Hampton-based owner Maureen Turner and regularly brings home litter that he finds on his daily walks to put in the bin. His owner said Henry has been performing his litter-picking duties since he was a puppy.
Mrs Turner said: "Henry is so friendly and I get the impression he genuinely thinks he is helping. He finds all sorts of things on his walks around Hampton from chip wrappers to gloves and caps and looks as pleased as punch when he puts them in the bin."
