COWBOY builders threatened to burn down a farm after demanding the owner hand over £2,500 for a driveway - 14 times the price quoted.
The men had offered to tarmac the driveway for between £150 and £175 at the farm, in Broome, on February 23 but became aggressive when the owner refused to pay.
They pushed the owner but left when the police were called.
Sgt Mark Ashford, of West Mercia Constabulary, said: "These men have been turning up at people's homes giving the impression that they are genuine tarmac workers from an agency."
