GOLF: A Crossway Green club is one of only 300 nationwide to be given junior golf academy status by Young Masters Golf.
Ombersley GC will have a structured educational syllabus designed to introduce youngsters to the game and develop their skills.
Club professional Debbie Hall said there had been a lot of interest for the first stage of the programme which starts this month but more boys and girls are welcome.
