BOWLS: Invincibles have been crowned Gilt Edge Short Mat League champions with one game left to play.
They easily beat basement team Dire Straits 28-5 and hammered mid-table Crusaders 35-7 in their recent games.
Telly Tubbies are favourites for second place after taking the full six points when defeating Wribbenhall 20-10.
Tornadoes could only manage four in their 17-13 win over Crusaders and are now two behind. A convincing 24-5 victory over Blakedown lifted Stourport into fourth position.
Chestnuts won the second half 17-5 against Squirrel after losing the first 12-4, while Aces edged both halves 11-10 and 8-7.
Brintons led 9-6 and edged the second 12-11 after a hot-shot six from Untouchables' Carl Wilkes, Mike Bond and Isobel Davies.
