PARISH GAMES: Bowls will set off the annual battle between villagers for the Wyre Forest Parish Games title.

Five parishes are to contest this year's competition, organised by Wyre Forest District Council, in a maximum of 10 events running until June.

They will be vying for points from the short mat bowls which is to be hosted by Gilt Edge Leisure Centre, Zortech Avenue, Kidderminster, on Wednesday from 7pm.
