A MAN with a nose for true love will be taking centre stage at The Swan Theatre in Worcester next week.
Mind the Gap, one of the country's leading theatre companies for people with learning difficulties, will be presenting its version of Cyrano by Edmond Rostand.
The play, which was written in 1898, tells the story of a brave swordsman, brilliant poet and loyal friend who is in love with the beautiful Roxane.
Unfortunately, because of the eponymous hero's prominent proboscis, she will not give him a second glance.
Unable to tell her how he feels, Cyrano lends his words to the dashing young Christian, a tongue-tied young soldier who also loves her.
The stage is then set for a tragically comic tale of mistaken identities and unrequited love.
The play is on for one night only on Thursday, March 11.
Tickets, at £10, are available by calling the box office on 01905 611427.
