A COMPUTER technician who was obsessed with young girls took part in a bondage sex session with an under-age teenager.

The girl was photographed wearing a dog collar and was chained to the wall of a room in Richard Stanton's house.

He videoed bedroom scenes with girls, took photographs of them and dowloaded indecent images from the internet, said Samantha Powis, prosecuting at Worcester Crown Court.

Stanton, 37, of Brooklands Drive, Kidderminster, confessed to having sex with a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old.

He pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse, possession of indecent photographs of children, taking indecent pictures and indecent assault.

Jailing him for 18 months, Mr Justice Astill said the most disturbing aspect of the case was that Stanton did not think he was doing anything wrong.

But he added: "The law must protect young girls getting involved with people of your age. They are not the best guardians of their own health."

The judge said the defendant took advantage of under-age girls for his own sexual pleasure.

He ordered Stanton to sign on the sex offenders' register for five years and be supervised for two years on licence after his release from prison.

Miss Powis said Stanton, who had no previous convictions, was caught last year after police searched his home. A large amount of computer equipment was seized along with 18 photos and five videos of children.

Stanton admitted befriending girls and then having full sexual relationships with them. He said his interests were in those aged between 15 and 17.

But Miss Powis said one girl was 10 when he took her on a trip. She lost her virginity to him at 14. They had sex up to three times a week.

Miss Powis said he had been downloading indecent images of girls for years and while in custody a third girl came forward to police. She said they had sex when she was 15.

Stanton had further offences taken into consideration.

Tim Harrington, defending, said his behaviour had cost him his job and reputation. He could also lose his home through repossession.

"He was hard-working and law-abiding in other aspects," added Mr Harrington. "The pictures were for his own sexual gratification but he was cooperative with police."
