A MAN who wore shorts even in the winter to raise money for a good cause has handed his money over to the Air Ambulance.
Lionel Mercer, a regular at The Swan, Barbourne, wore shorts on his almost daily visits to the pub from last May until New Year's Eve.
As the money poured in, Mr Mercer started wearing shorts during all of his free time, and has raised a total of £420 for the charity.
Mr Mercer, of Droitwich Road, Worcester, presented the cheque to the Air Ambulance on Friday, February 27, at The Swan.
