VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help boost the number of butterflies at a Worcester nature reserve.
Members of the public are being encouraged to join the Wildwatch Volunteers at the Offerton Wetlands reserve, off Wainwright Road, Warndon, this Saturday.
An area of the habitat has become covered in dense bushes which are now shading out wild flowers and affecting the numbers of butterflies.
The group will be cutting back some of the bushes and transplanting some to form a new hedgerow from 10am. Tools will be provided.
Contact Rory McClure, Project Greenspace Officer at Worcester City Council, on 01905 722 500 for further details.
