KIDDERMINSTER'S Steve Davies proved to be one of the stars as England impressed at the U-19s Cricket World Cup in Bangladesh.
The batsman/wicket-keeper crashed three half-centuries on the way to Tuesday's semi-final clash with the West Indies.
But Davies, a Worcestershire and former Kidderminster player, could only contribute a score of four in a 94-run defeat.
England finished top of both Group B and Super League Group Two in making the last four.
Davies blasted 78 not out against Nepal, 63 versus South Africa and 53 in an impressive win over tomorrow's finalists Pakistan. He also claimed a total of six catches.
