A FLIPPIN' good time was had by all in Alcester last week when the annual pancake races took place in High Street.
Teams and individuals armed with their pans hurtled along the road from the post office to the gates of St Nicholas' Church, hoping to do so much batter than the opposition.
The event, organised by Alcester Court Leet, proved as popular as ever with scores of people lining the street cheering the competitors on.
