DROITWICH Snooker Centre A moved into pole position for a title defence by returning to the top of the Droitwich and District League Division One.
Their 5-0 defeat of Bromsgrove Royal British Legion B saw them leap frog Catshill A, beaten by Bromsgrove Police Club A, in the latest round of matches. They now lead by a point with three weeks to go. Steve Poyner helped Droitwich along the way, his 38 break the highest of the week.
Nick Cox's 27 for Bromsgrove Police Club B was the best effort in division two.
