RESIDENTS of all ages are being encouraged to take up tennis next month in Bromsgrove and Rubery.
District leisure chiefs are re-introducing their tennis sessions in Sanders Park, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove, and at Rubery Leisure Centre, in Holywell Road.
This season's programme begins with children's tennis in Sanders Park on Saturday mornings from April 24 between 10 and 11am for 5-7 year-olds. The next hour is for 8-10 year-olds and the next for 11-14 year-olds.
Sessions at Rubery Leisure Centre start on Tuesday, April 27, between 4 and 5pm for 7-9 year-olds and 5 to 6pm for 9-11 year-olds. The cost is £2.50 per week at both venues.
Adults get their turn on Thursday mornings in Sanders Park between 9.45 and 11.45am, costing £4.
