IF, as M Hunt claims (You Say, Wednesday, February 25) there is no difference between London or Paris to a "new European" why is it that Paris can refuse to accommodate any of the 55 million expected brothers and sisters of your new Europe?

Aren't we all "Europeans" under the same law?

If, as you say, M Hunt, it makes no difference where we come from we are all "Europeans", could you please be kind enough to explain to me why a Slovakian worker can't simply be a "new European" in his own country after May 1?

If the "new Europeans" were really seeking work in this country, surely they would have moved over here years ago?

Out of the expected 55 to 70 million persons due to try to enter this country, do you know how many are doctors, dentists, nurses, or skilled persons of any kind? Less than three per cent.

How many of your "new European" brothers and sisters will you put up in your nice European house in England M Hunt?

I, like you, M Hunt, have friends all over Europe. I fax, and e-mail them regularly, but I do not know of one of them that is happy being in the restrictive "Federation of Europe".
