n IN your edition of Thursday, February 26, it was reported that Worcester Magistrates imposed a driving ban on a man convicted of the heinous crime of driving 5mph over the limit on City Walls Road.
This man could now lose his job as a result of this decision. On the same page, it was reported that, of a total of 494 people sentenced for breaking into houses or commercial properties, 248 were given non-custodial sentences such as community service.
In other words let off with a slap on the wrist and a lollipop as consolation.
Tell me. What are the qualifications needed to be a magistrate in this potty city - a frontal lobotomy?
