ROSS Kendall scored four goals as Churchill United trounced Golden Lions 14-1.

United, in their first season out of junior football, made it 15 wins from 15 at the top of the Advertiser/Messenger League division three last Sunday and only need a point from this Sunday's match with Stoke Prior Sporting to claim the title.

United, also reached Bridgwater Cup finalists, went a goal behind before hitting back in style through Kendall, a James Mason hat-trick, two each for Kris Stanton and Jamie Daly and apiece for John Whitehead and Russell Ager. An own goal completed the rout.
