AN inspector has dismissed an appeal against the refusal of planning permission for a house on land at Wheatley Cottage, Worlds End, Grimley.
Malvern Hills planning officers had refused the application on the grounds that the house would be in open countryside and would detract from the rural character of the area.
It would be built in front of another house and would be subject to noise and disturbance from vehicles visiting that house, besides overlooking it and affecting its privacy.
Poor visibility at the access would affect the safe movement and free flow of traffic on the C2069.
In dismissing the appeal, the inspector upheld all the original reasons for refusal.
