AN internet bulletin board specifically for environmental and social justice groups in and around Worcester has been launched.

Worcester Green Party hopes the board, called "Green Gossip", will provide a useful forum for the exchanges of information and ideas and promote understanding and co-operation.

Organisations listed in the first bulletin include Worcester City Council and St Peter's Garden Centre.

Robert Wilkins, the party's Press officer, came up with the idea and hopes the number of entries will grow as word spreads.

"It is intended that the bulletin will go out quarterly," said Mr Wilkins.

"The idea is for people to share the information by attaching the bulletin to

e-mails, pinning it on their notice boards, or by cutting and pasting all or part into their newsletters."

Anyone who wants to know more about Green Gossip or who wishes to contribute to the scheme should call Mr Wilkins on 01905 352065.
