A student studying for vocational GCSEs has picked up an award for his outstanding work.
Daniel Ford, a Year 11 pupil at Elgar Technology College, is studying manufacturing at both the Bilford Road school and Worcester College of Technology, which share theory and practical lessons.
He was presented with a 2004 Young Learners Award at Malvern Theatres in recognition of his achievement.
"Daniel has blossomed in the adult environment and his practical work has been outstanding," said Vanessa Winters, of award sponsor the Learning and Skills Council Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
