MEMBERS of a Hereford club used to thinking small are showing they have big hearts with a special event to raise cash for a new hospice for life-limited children in Worcestershire.
The Wye Valley Miniaturists Club is holding a fund-raising auction and workshop day to raise cash for Acorns Children's Hospice Trust.
The charity is campaigning to raise the final £1.3m of the £4m it needs to build a new hospice in Bath Road, Worcester.
The hospice will provide care and support for more than 250 life-limited children in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire who are not expected to reach adulthood, as well as for their families.
The fund-raising event will take place at Bartrestree Village Hall, Hereford, from 10am on Saturday, April 17.
