A PERSISTENT burglar left his fingerprints at the scene after raiding a house and stealing property worth £625.
Beau Broadhurst Junior was serving a prison sentence for another break-in when police tracked him down, Worcester Crown Court heard.
Broadhurst, aged 29, of The Slad, Wilden, Stourport, was given 18 months jail to run concurrently with the 47-month term he is already serving. He admitted burglary.
Prosecutor Alex Warren said a video recorder, hi-fi and cassettes were taken from the house in Avon Road, Kidderminster, on December 15, 2002, after the back door was forced.
Broadhurst left his fingerprints on a plastic bag. He sold the property for drugs and had 58 previous convictions, including 24 for house raids.
Judge Michael Mott, who sentenced Broadhurst to the 47 months, said he would not have added to the term if he had known about the Avon Road raid at the time.
