Blockley 1,
Evesham Utd Robins U-10 2
THE two sides were finally able to play their first round cup tie and it was the Robins who continued their winning run against spirited opponents.
United created a number of first half chances before David Stringer finally put them in front at the end of an excellent passing move.
Shortly after the break Blockley got a deserved equaliser when Josh Keyte fired home.
Robins pressed for a winner and Mark Washington won the tie with a glancing header from Stringer's free-kick. The Robins will now play at Pershore in the second round on Saturday.
